Monet's GED Preparation Program is a year round, open enrollment, self-pace program for adults 18 years and older. Students must complete an Adult Registration Form. Students are Pre -assessed using the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Form 9. Based on Reading and Math scores, a grade equivalency is determined and students' academic levels are identified as Pre-GED, GED Regular, or GED Fast-Track. Students identified as GED Regular or GED Fast-Track advance to the next level of testing. Students identified as Pre- GED enter remedial classes.
The length of enrollment is determined by the student's academic level, commitment level, and maturity level. Students have enrolled and received their GED Certificates in less than 12 weeks!
The center will maintain a maximum 12:1 student to teacher ratio; creating a smaller, more person-able learning environment in which students can achieve their academic and vocational goals.
